Mental Health Awareness Month

Join Advocates for the Truth as we highlight Mental Health Awareness Month.

Since 2023, Advocates For The Truth has undertaken an investigation and financially supported trauma therapy for survivors worldwide. We are working with survivors in over 30 countries.  Our goal for this fundraiser is $1,000,000.  This seemingly large amount will only cover a portion of mental health services for survivors that have come forward since the FBI victim hotline in February, as well as administrative, and investigative costs.  Child sex abuse and sexual assault is a lifelong wound. The trauma therapy, inpatient and outpatient care that survivors must-have is not being provided by the Overseers and Workers. This crisis is leaving survivors and their families with no financial help for the foreseeable future.

AFTT's perpetrator list is over 870. This means, for a minimum of one survivor to each perpetrator, the trauma therapy cost would be 7 million dollars. This does not factor in that many perpetrators have multiple survivors.  Please give your best donation -- survivors' lives depend upon this.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, providing support, and advocating for mental health resources and education. At Advocates For The Truth (AFTT), we are passionate about promoting mental well-being and empowering individuals to prioritize their mental health.

To commemorate Mental Health Awareness Month, we are excited to announce our upcoming fundraiser event: Survivor Care and Mental Health Matters. This event will serve as an opportunity for our community to come together, show support for those affected by from the tragic intergenerational Child Sex Abuse (CSA) and Sexual Assault (SA) that has affected hundreds of children, men, and women in the Truth, and raise funds to further pay for treatment, support, as well as administrative, and investigative costs.

Multiple donors have graciously come together to match donated funds to help us reach our goal of $1,000,000. Your participation will make a difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health issues.

Help us help survivors. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding mental health, promote understanding and empathy, and ensure that everyone has access to the support they need.

Spread the word on social media using the hashtag #MentalHealthAwarenessAFTT

Your support is instrumental in our AFTT mission which is giving voice, protection, and justice to survivors.  It is important that we create a world where mental health is prioritized, and everyone feels supported on their journey towards healing and wellness.

Thank you for joining us in raising awareness and making a positive impact during Mental Health Awareness Month. Together, we can make a difference providing compassion and communal care to a community in need.
