Partnerships
AFTT was incorporated in the spring of 2023, and we received our non-profit status in July of 2023. In the spring of 2023 AFTT partnered with two nonprofits; Little Hooves Big Hearts, and Fund Recovery
Each partner manages their own donations and because of this, AFTT and these two organizations are able to offer a range of services to survivors. There are several ways to access care via these partnerships:
Little Hooves and Big Hearts
An Arizona nonprofit founded in 2006, has partnered with AFTT to offer “Healing with Horses.” This weeklong program of equine-assisted therapy was specifically developed to meet the needs of victim-survivors, and the initial feedback from participants has been uniformly positive.
Little Hooves does not charge for its services. Donations are tax-deductible, and all proceeds will directly support the “Healing with Horses” program.
Survivors from North, Central and South America can access these weeklong programs.
Fund Recovery
Fund Recovery is a nonprofit that has created a separate fund to link victims of abuse in the Truth to selected providers in their area, with treatment options ranging from residential programs to weekly therapy sessions.
Since 2011, Fund Recovery exists to break the cycle of mental health issues by filling in the funding gap between someone who is struggling and their wellness.
Fund Recovery's mission is to provide funding to directly support those combating mental health issues who cannot otherwise afford help, either by supporting the afflicted people directly or by assisting those who care for them.
Fund Recovery provides financial assistance and scholarships for mental health services for people seeking change.
Fund Recovery is proud to partner with CaringWays to give Advocates for The Truth an established and secure fundraising platform.
CaringWays is an authenticated philanthropy platform that works directly with organizations like Fund Recovery to help friends and family members pay for mental health costs with greater ease, confidence, and security.
Fund Recovery will help connect you with mental health providers if you are uncertain who to contact through the approved network and help with financial assistance for mental health services.
Survivors can access Fund Recovery worldwide.
